Mumbai, Jan 23: Bollywood superstar Shahrukh Khan was injured on a film set and has been rushed to Nanavati Hospital in Santacruz West, Mumbai. The actor was reportedly shooting for Farah Khan’s film Happy New Year at the JW Marriott Hotel in Juhu, Mumbai when the incident occurred.
Apparently a door fell on Shahrukh on the set and he began bleeding. Nothing serious has been reported so far.
Update: An official statement from the star’s office read: ‘Mr Khan had a minor accident on the sets while shooting. He has a minor injury and has got the necessary medical aid. Mr Khan is absolutely fine now. Thank you for all your wishes!’
It is not clear whether co-star Deepika Padukone was also shooting with Shahrukh for Happy New Year when the accident happened. But the good news is that Shahrukh is back at work on the set!
Just yesterday, the superstar was at Microsoft, Hyderabad. And this morning, he shared on social networking what probably was his state of mind at the Happy New Year shoot:
“A day where one feels like “turning down the volume knob on life”. Hope today all I hear is the music in my thoughts..nothing else….nothing.”
