Following on its success in the Indian two-wheeler markets, DSK Benelli has announced the sale of 151 Benelli superbikes in Goa within a span of one year. With this feat, the company has set a record for selling the highest number of superbikes in Goa within a year. Benelli has been one of the best selling premium bike manufacturers in India. Making its foray into the Indian market in 2015, DSK Benelli entered the niche segment of powerful and performance oriented bikes. The DSK Group, under its DSK MotoWheels brand, sells the Benelli as well as the Hyosung range of motorcycles in India.
To mark this occasion Mr. Shirish Kulkarni, Chairman, DSK Motowheels, handed over the keys of the 151st DSK Benelli superbike to the proud owner in presence of ISL superstars from FC Goa. The company also unveiled the one-of-its-kind DSK Benelli TNT 25 that is embellished in FC Goa livery to celebrate the football mania. The DSK Benelli TNT 25 is powered by a 249cc single-cylinder, liquid-cooled, 4-valve, DOHC petrol engine that is capable of producing a maximum power of 28 BHP at 9800 RPM along with 21.61 NM of peak torque at 8000 RPM while this engine comes coupled to a 6-speed gearbox. The Benelli TNT 25 is priced in India at INR 1.80 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi). Apart from the TNT 25, the DSK-Benelli portfolio in India consists of the Benelli TNT 300, TNT 600i, TNT 600 GT, the Benelli TNT 899 and the Benelli TNT R.
