Bombay Stock Exchange down due to network hitch

Mumbai, Jul 3: The country’s biggest and premier stock market, BSE, was down since opening hours owing to a connectivity hitch on Thursday morning, an official said.

“Due to a network outage being currently faced, BSE has decided to close all markets,” an official statement added.

A team of the BSE’s network service vendor, HCL, was working to resolve the issue. After the network issues are resolved, the markets will restart, the official said.
