New Delhi, July 16: Soon after new entrant Reliance Jio came up with its new tariff plans earlier this week, rival telco Aircel has come up with Rs 348 plan to counter Jio’s Rs 399 plan. According to Aircel’s new tariff plan, the telco is offering users with unlimited local calls with 1 GB of 3G Data per day for 84 days, with free local and STD voice calls. The new Rs 348 Aircel recharge pack is named as FRC 348 and is only valid only in the Uttar Pradesh (East) circle as of now, the company’s website stated.
Under the new Aircel offer, a user will be able to make unlimited calls (both local and STD) to any network. This offer will be valid for the 84-day period with no daily or weekly limit. The data speeds under the offer are capped to 3G only unlike Reliance Jio that delivers only 4G speeds.
Earlier this week, Jio had launched two new plans, Rs 349 and Rs 399 and it kept the old Rs 309 and Rs 509 offers without any change. Jio’s Rs. 349 includes 20 GBs of 4G data with a validity of 56 days without any daily limit while the Rs 399 plan offers 1 GB of 4G data per day for 84 days along with free voice calls and MyJio app services to both existing and new Prime members. After a user exhausts the given free high speed data, the internet speed will be reduced to 128 kbps. Mukesh Ambani –led Jio has, however, extended its Jio Dhan Dhana Dhan Offer with a new Rs 399 plan for 84 days.
