Xiaomi Redmi 4 sale on Amazon India: Exclusive sale from 12 PM today, starting price Rs 6999

The launch of Xiaomi’s low budget and mid-ranged smartphone ‘Xiaomi Redmi 4’ will be on sale exclusively on Amazon India from May 23.

New Delhi, May 23: The first online sale for the most awaited Redmi 4 will begin today at 12 PM on Amazon India. The launch of Chinese tech company Xiaomi’s low budget and mid-ranged smartphone ‘Xiaomi Redmi 4’ will be on sale exclusively on Amazon India from May 23. If you are planning to get your hands on the most awaited Smartphone, here’s a chance! Xiaomi has partnered with e-commerce giant Amazon India to sell the smartphone exclusively on its online platform. However, Amazon had already started pre-booking the smartphone. In November 2016, the Redmi 4 and Redmi 4 Prime were launched in China, alongside the Xiaomi Redmi 4A, which has been available in India since March.

The ‘Xiaomi Redmi 4’ smartphone will also be on sale on Mi.com on May 23 at 12 PM. The new Redmi 4 smartphone is powered by 1.4GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 435 processor and has three RAM options- 2GB, 3GB and 4GB. All the versions will support expandable memory. The phone packs 32GB of internal storage that can be expanded up to 128GB via a microSD card. The exciting launch offers include Flat Rs 500 cashback with YES Bank Debit and Credit Cards, up to Rs 5000 off on flights and hotels on goibibo, Rs 200 promotion credit for Kindle books and 45GB Vodafone data free for 5 months.

Redmi

Redmi 4 is a dual SIM (GSM and GSM) smartphone that accepts Micro-SIM and Nano-SIM.  The base variant of the ‘Xiaomi Redmi 4’ smartphone comes with 2GB RAM and 16GB storage and is priced at Rs 6,999. The second variant of the smartphone comes with 32GB storage, 3GB of RAM and costs Rs 8,999 whereas the 64GB storage and 4GB of RAM variant is priced at Rs 10,999. The smartphone has a 13-megapixel primary camera on the rear and a 5-megapixel front shooter for selfies. The phone runs Android 6.0.1 and is powered by a 4100mAh non-removable battery.

Sensors on the phone include compass magnetometer, proximity sensor, accelerometer, ambient light sensor and gyroscope. As per reports, the Xiaomi Redmi 4 smartphone will be available offline through its latest launched Mi Home in Bengaluru.  The phone will be available at the IT hub’s Phoenix Market City on May 20.
