Bhopal’s Farhan Qureshi, who is a tea seller’s son, won the Mr. National Universe 2018 title in Goa on Saturday. The stylish young man is a son of Fareed Qureshi, a tea seller in Bhopal, who secretly worked as a model. Farhan participated in Rubaru Mr. India Universe Competition and along with it, he also won the title of Mr. India International 2018. Now he will represent the country in this prestigious international level competition.
After winning the title, Farhan has reached Bhopal, where his friends and family welcomed him. In an interview, he said, “My father was against modeling and he didn’t allow me to participate in any of the competitions. I have worked in my father’s tea stall for 2 years and later joined the gym and attended personality development classes.”
After winning the contest, Qureshi took to Facebook to share his excitement and thank all those who helped him bag the title. He wrote, “It is not on the stars to hold our destiny it is in ourselves. On that note, I, thank all of you for supporting and voting for me and having faith in me. Special thanks to my Family and Friends for standing by my side as the pillar of my strength. There are no exact words to express how grateful and thankful I am for all that you’ve done for me.”
