In the wake of reports of exam paper leak, The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced re-examination in the Class 10 mathematics and Class 12 economics subjects. The official notice issued by the CBSE states, “With the view to uphold the sanctity of the board examinations and in the interest of the fairness to the students, the board has decided to re-conduct the examinations.” Angry students and parents have taken to Twitter to express their disappointment over the CBSE’s decision. One of the user writes, #CBSE conducting re-examination is very unfair to the students. Why should they suffer because of the board’s incompetence. Imagine giving your last board exam and then something like this happens.”
Another tweet is from an obviously very angry student, who writes, “So thanks a lot f**king education department and CBSE, those who work hard will get nothing and losers will get the win! F**k you CBSE , Now Class 10 Maths Board Paper got leaked! F**K YOU #CBSE AND WHO EVER THE F**K IS RUNNING THIS DEPARTMENT #CBSEPaperLeak #CBSEBoardExams.”
One more from a furious student, “Is this a joke! Why should we pay for a mistake not committed by us? It is just unacceptable and so unfair. Some of us have entrance tests to prepare for. We totally disagree. #cbse #economics.”

The change will affect over 28 lakh students. A total number of 16,38,428 students had registered for class 10 exams and for class 12, a total of 11,86,306 students had registered.
