Prime Minister Narendra Modi is busy celebrating his 67th birthday in Ahmedabad and Indians have all gotten together to make this day special for the PM. Born on September 17, 1950, PM Modi has been serving as the 15th Prime Minister of India since 2014 and his birthday has been a grand celebration all over the country for many years. However, there are several international politicians who share their birth date with the current Indian Prime Minister. 1. Hesham Qandil – Prime Minister of Egypt

Hesham Qandil is an Egyptian engineer and civil servant who served as the Prime Minister of Egypt from 2012 to 2013. Born on September 17, 1962, Hesham Qandil was Egypt’s youngest prime minister since Gamal Abdel Nasser’s appointment in 1954 and a politically independent senior public servant in the Morsi administration. Qandil resigned as the PM of Egypt in 2013 in protest of the bloodshed when 51 protesters were killed by the military at the Republican Guard headquarters.

2. Janez Jansa – Prime Minister of Slovenia

Janez Jansa served as the Prime Minister of Slovenia from 2004 to 2008 and again from 2012 to 2013. Born on September 17, 1958, Jansa led the Slovenian Democratic Party since 1993 and was the Minister of Defence in Slovenia from 1990 to 1994.

3. Shin Kanemaru – Deputy Prime Minister of Japan

Shin Kanemaru was a Japanese politician who was a pivotal figure in Japan from the early 1970s to the early 1990s. Born on September 17, 1914, Shin Kanemaru served as the Deputy Prime Minister of the country from 1986 to 1987 and was a member of the Liberal Democratic Party and member of the faction of Noboru Takeshita.
