IPL 2014 after the initial stint at UAE returned back to India and is all set with the contest between Mumbai Indians and Kings XI Punjab. The match is more looked forward by the Mumbai Indians supporters as the two sides play off at MI’s home ground in Wankhede Stadium. Mumbai Indians would be hoping for change in their fate at the home ground is in dire situation. They have majestic names in the side but have not fired yet. Well on the other hand is Kings XI Punjab, for whom nothing has gone wrong. We take a look at the players that will be out there on the ground and make a difference to their side and in game.

Kieron Pollard (Mumbai Indians)

The burly allrounder from West Indies almost handed Mumbai Indians their first win against Sunrisers Hyderabad. With the continuous dismal performance of the top order, it falls too much on Keiron Pollard. He scored a fighting 78 runs comprising of half a dozen of sixes went in vain, but it gave MI a glimmer of hope for the coming matches.

Harbhajan Singh (Mumbai Indians)

Indian pitches are paradise for Indian spinners. And who better to understand the playing conditions than Mumbai Indians Harbhajan Singh. He has so far had an average tournament for MI but considering the return to favourable conditions might help the Indian spinner. Also the memorable history against KXIP should motivate the ‘Turbanator’!

Sandeep Sharma (Kings XI Punjab)

Definitely the biggest find of this IPL 2014, Sandeep Sharma is doing everything right at the moment. He was lethal against Royal Challengers Bangalore and Kolkata Knight Riders and was adjudged Man of the Match. With bowling figures of 4-0-21-3 and 3-1-15-3 against KKR and RCB, he is certainly the pacer to watch out for.

David Miller (Kings XI Punjab)

M-Factor has been the core reasons behind Kings XI Punjab mercurial growth this IPL 2014. Glenn Maxwell is definitely the man of moment but it is David Miller who has emerged the best finisher for the side. His ability to calmly swing the match in KXIP side from any given situation is worth watching.

Dark Horse: Virender Sehwag (Kings XI Punjab)

One of the best openers in the world, Virender Sehwag has been providing KXIP good starts in all the matches till date.  But there is one special knock that every Viru fan is awaiting. He has been getting good starts and only need to convert them into a good knock.
