Kings XI Punjab’s loss against Kolkata Knight Riders and Sunrisers Hyderabad going down against Mumbai Indians has left the tournament wide open. Now both teams which lost their previous encounters will take on each other. KXIP are placed second while SRH is at fifth spot. As both teams battle it out in the middle we bring to you five players who can be possible match winners in game number 39.

1. Virender Sehwag (Kings XI Punjab)

You just cannot write off Virender Sehwag in any format and particularly T2O. Sehwag has enjoyed his stint with KXIP and seems to be back in his groove. Sehwag’s first fifty of this season came in last match against Kolkata Knight Riders and it is good for Kings XI Punjab that he has started to click at the right time for them. He has scored 253 runs thus far and one decent innings will see him breaking into most runs list.

2. David Miller (Kings XI Punjab)

A solid middle-order batsman who can win you matches holds true for David Miller. He has an indispensible role in the middle and is in charge of finishing things. Miller is equally efficient in the field as well. He has pouched seven catches so far and saved plenty of runs with his supple fielding.

3. Dale Steyn (Sunrisers Hyderabad)

It has been a mixed bag of performances for Dale Steyn. He was ripped apart by AB de Villiers and then bounced back against Delhi Daredevils with his man of the match effort. Steyn has to start winning games for his team more and more to see SRH qualify for next round.

4. David Warner (Sunrisers Hyderabad)

Number seven of the list of most runs with 297 runs David Warner is the man in form for SRH. He has in nine matches scored four fifties and has an average of 49.50. Warner seems to be enjoying his provisional role as a middle order batsman and winds it up for SRH productively.

5. Dark Horse: George Bailey (Kings XI Punjab)

George Bailey has been left with not much to do and he would fancy it to be that way for coming games as well, but KXIP captain has been cool in the field leading his troops. As a middle order batsman he has to be Eveready incise top order fails to deliver. Bailey already in one game has exhibited his stroke making scoring 40 off just 13 balls against CSK.
