Kung Fu Yoga trailer: Salman Khan promotes his Dabangg co-star Sonu Sood movie with Jackie Chan on Twitter

The one person from Bollywood who seems to be impressed by the Kung Fu Yoga trailer is superstar Salman Khan! The Tubelight star tweeted thanks to Jackie Chan for giving the film to Sonu Sood, his co-star from Dabangg (2010).

The much-awaited trailer of Kung Fu Yoga is out and it looks like a treat! From Jackie Chan’s signature punches to Bollywood dances, the movie has it all. The movie, starring superstar Jackie Chan along with Bollywood stars Sonu Sood, Amyra Dastur and Disha Patani, is a powerful mix of Indian and Chinese culture. Elephant rides, meditating sadhus, grand palaces along with Chinese sculptures have added colour to the trailer. And when Jackie Chan is not seen throwing his fists around, he tries to groove to Bollywood songs!

The Tubelight star tweeted thanks to Jackie Chan for giving the film to Sonu Sood, his co-star from Dabangg (2010). Salman Khan had bashed up Sonu Sood in Dabangg, in which he played the main villain Chhedi Singh, but the two are friends off-screen. Salman Khan said on Twitter about Kung Fu Yoga, “This is the coolest”. And we completely agree with the Khan; the Kung Fu Yoga trailer shows that the movie is a mix and match of sorts and will be thoroughly entertaining.

In Kung Fu Yoga, Jackie Chan plays the role of Jack, a renowned professor of archaeology at the Terracotta Warriors Museum in Xi’an. Sonu Sood plays a man who possesses Indian magic and wants to locate India’s lost Magadha treasure in Tibet. Amyra Dastur plays Ashmita, an Indian professor, and Disha Patani, who is a princess, assists Kyra in the mission with Jackie Chan.

Adding to the extravaganza, the Kung Fu Yoga trailer has roaring lions and speeding cars, camel races, and unruly wolves. There is also a glimpse of Bollywood actress Disha Patani as a beautiful Indian princess.

Kung Fu Yoga will release in English, Hindi and Mandarin. While it will release in India on February 3, 2017, it will hit theatres in Singapore and China in the last week of January this year.
