Have you ever heard the phrase ‘Silence speaks louder than words’? Well, if you have, then here comes the most anticipated silent horror movie trailer ‘The Mercury’ that will definitely leave you with many thoughts in mind. The trailer starts with a view of hills and greenery everywhere which is in the middle of nowhere. Next, we see are two youngsters—scared and fearful. Later we move into an abandoned factory where four scared people are dreadful of what going to happen next. The trailer continues with several sounds such as metal clanging, floor shaking, things banging to each other and no one speaks. They run to save themselves but nothing seems to work out.

In the trailer, we also get the very little glimpse of Prabhu Deva where he is bleeding, screeching, howling and hull his hair. It is a dark trailer for a dark night that does not see to end. The Karthik Subbaraj film is slated to release on a gloomy date of April 13 (Friday) and the trailer looks promising with the path-breaking horror genre. ‘The Mercury’ is the very first India’s silent thriller movie in last 30 years, after Kamal Hassan’s 1987 cult silent film Pushpaka Vimana.

The film features Sananth, Indhuja, Deepak Paramesh, Shashank Purushotham and Anish Padmanabhan. The story and screenplay have been written Subbaraj and the film has music by Santhosh Narayanan, while the cinematography has been done by S Thirunavukkarasu.
