For the past three days, the Exit Poll of the Lok Sabha Elections 2014 has been making news, ahead of the counting date of May 16. Most news channels and other media tend to believe the outcome of the various exit polls or surveys conducted by research organisations. But are they accurate? Or are they rigged?

It has often happened that the actual outcome of a Lok Sabha general election has turned out to be quite different from what the exit polls predicted.
