Emily’s mother told Daily Mail that the girl knows she is different from the rest of children of her age and is conscious about her body. Emily will soon begin a course of monthly injections that will force her body into a very premature menopause which comes with side effects. Her parents will have to pay around Rs 95,000 per shot as the working parents are not entitled to healthcare. They also do not have any paid leave left as Emily frequently falls ill. The couple is now hoping to raise money to fund Emily’s vital treatment. You can donate to Emily’s treatment here.
