Sehri is the time before the beginning of roza when a person wakes up at an extremely early time to have sumptuous meal and water. Sehri includes reciting a sacred prayer to begin fasting. Iftar or Iftari is the end of the day’s fast and the fast is ideally broken by eating dates which are sources of instant energy. While planning the meals for Sehri and Iftari, it is important to have a perfect balance in the proportion of carbohydrates and proteins. An easy trick to drinking more water it to switch the regular water for infused cold water as it is more soothing to the throat and pacifies the taste buds as well.

The holy month of Ramadan often makes people who fast completely exhausted by the strain of fasting. However, completely giving up daily workout is the worst thing anyone can do in the month of Ramzan. While following a complete workout plan may be unrealistic for many. It is important to go for walks and stretch regularly even in the month of Ramzan. Having a target number of steps and meeting it post-iftar will be ideal to help in the digestion of the food and make space for dinner as well. It is important to exercise regularly during Ramzan to keep the entire body’s function normal while fasting.
