India’s biggest cricketing icon and Rajya Sabha MP, Sachin Tendulkar is all geared up for the release of his upcoming biographical film, Sachin: A Billion Dreams. The 44-year-old former Indian captain paid a special visit to Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He was accompanied by his wife, Anjali to PM’s office in the national capital and took his blessings. Sachin Tendulkar shared pictures on his Instagram account capturing the great meeting between country’s most renowned personalities. Sachin: A Billion Dreams written and directed by James Erskine is releasing on May 26, 2017.

Before the release of the biopic, Sachin decided to meet the Indian PM and seek his blessings for the film’s success. Sachin and his wife Anjali visited Delhi and had a memorable conversation with Narendra Modi. Sachin captioned one of the images as, “Briefed our Hon’ble PM @narendramodi about the film #SachinABillionDreams & received his blessings”. While the other picture contained an inspirational message from the respected Prime Minister. It read: “Thank you for your inspiring message @NarendraModi ji ‘Jo khele, Wahi khile!’ Could not have agreed more. #SachinABillionDreams”.

Sachin: A Billion Dreams is one of the most anticipated films of the year and why not. It is going to touch upon several topics related to the Master Blaster’s life, right from his childhood days to the mindset of players when Indian cricket was embroiled in shameful match-fixing scandal. Keeping up the excitement of devoted fans, the film has been declared tax free in states such as Kerala and Chhattisgarh.
