Born on 30th July, 1973, Sonu Nigam, who with his soulful voice has managed to win the hearts of the audience, celebrates his 40th birthday today. At the age of 19, the singing sensation came to the dream city Mumbai, to try his luck in Bollywood. Few years later during his struggling phase, he was also termed as ‘Rafi clone’ by many. The launch of Nigam’s album Deewana totally changed his life and he went on to lend his voice for the song ‘Yeh Dil’ from Pardes, which created ripples in the music industry catapulting his career to dizzying heights.
