Engine: Tata Zest is available in both Petrol and Diesel options. Under the hood of Petrol car is an all new 1.2 litre MPFi turbocharged Revotron petrol engine while diesel option features 1.3-litre Quadrajet Motor, which has been used in Vista as well. The latest 1.2L Revotron petrol engine has been designed to keeping in mind the power performance and fuel consumption. The newest petrol engine yields mileage in the range of 18-19kmpl while the 1.3L diesel engine delivers mileage between 23-25kmpl. Apart from 5-speed manual transmission in both petrol and diesel Tata Zest comes with a 1.3-litre Multijet diesel which has an automated manual transmission (AMT).

Price: One of the deciding factor while most of us go to purchase a new car is its price. Tata Zest has been launched at an attractive price and pits aggressively against its rivals Maruti Suzuki Dzire, Honda Amaze and Hyundai Xcent. Design: The exterior and Interior of Tata Zest are quite refreshing as the car has been designed with inputs from engineers in United Kingdom, Italy and India. The Zest has dual-tone interiors which have been equipped by every car maker now, besides it Zest gets new Tata signature grille, projector head-lamps with chrome accents, LED lamps at the rear and a new set of 15-inch alloy wheels. Harman/Kardon has designed the infotainment and audio system. Even base model is packed with features like tilt adjustable power steering, air-conditioner with a heater option, front power windows, manual central locking and foldable key.
