The theme for this year’s Independence Day is the overall progress of the country since the time the country achieved freedom. However, special focus would be given on the achievements of the last three years in keeping with the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. According to reports the government is supposed to hold Twitter polls and quizzes on social media sites over Indian facts and the struggle for independence. These plans are made keeping in mind that the government wants people to take pride in the nation and to keep the sacrifices of our freedom fighters in people’s memory.
