Born on May 4, 1929 in Belgium, Audrey Hepburn was one of the most elegant and stylish actresses of her time. On her 85th birth anniversary today, Google Doodle has paid a tribute to her with a pink doodle.

Hepburn is probably most famous for her roles in Roman Holiday, a 1953 film for which she won an Academy Award; Breakfast at Tiffany’s, a 1961 film, followed by My Fair Lady in 1964.

Among her many awards, she also received the Presidential Medal of Freedom for her work as a UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador in December 1992.
