A leading Bay Area health services company is seeking to hire an organized, efficient individual with an accounting/finance background to join our team. The ideal candidate has prior experience with billing, account management and receivables management. The ideal candidate also has strong written and verbal communication skills and thrives in an interactive environment.
Primary responsibilities include:

• Coordinating with team members to confirm timesheets and other billable expenses
• Generating and sending invoices on a weekly basis, per client specifications
• Managing extra billing items such as reimbursements, deductions and mileage
• Building trust-based, lasting relationships with our clients and serving as a resource for their needs
• Maintaining an accurate receivables ledger and ensuring the timeliness and accuracy of our account collections
• Responding to client inquiries related to billing and coordinating with team members to resolve client questions and complaints in a swift and satisfactory manner
• Understanding and managing basic insurance billing processes
• Maintaining credit card and direct bank payments
• Flagging problematic accounts and working to resolve issues and receive payment
• Coordinating with a diverse team of professionals located across the United States
• Supporting your colleagues in the Finance/Billing departments as needed

We are looking for an organized, driven individual who can work with our team, be flexible to our various clients' needs and maintain the integrity of our accounts. You should expect to spend at least half of your time communicating with clients, resolving issues and following up on payments. A strong customer-service mentality is a must. You will be based in Palo Alto though you may work out of some other Peninsula Offices from time-to-time.
