New Delhi, Mar 13: Candidates awaiting the Andhra Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (APTET) 2017 can now download the final answer key subject wise from the official website The examination for the same was held from February 21, 2018 to March 2, 2018. Since the final answer key for the examination has now been released, the result for the teacher eligibility test too can be expected soon. The exam was conducted in two sessions — 9:30 am to 12 noon and 2:30 pm to 5 pm.

Reportedly, at least 15605 candidates could not appear for the exam as exam conducting body, Commissioner of School Education (CSE) AP could not accommodate the candidates in the districts of their choices and hence their exam was conducted at the centres of their choice, on 2 March 2018.

The tentative answer key for APTET 2017 was released in the first week of March. Meanwhile, candidates were given time to raise their objections. The online registration for the exam was held in December 2017.

  3. A new page will open displaying the answer keys
  4. Click on the relevant subject link
  5. Then, download and take a printout for future reference

Over 4,40,518 candidates applied for APTET 2017, which is a computer-based test conducted by the Department of School Education, Government of Andhra Pradesh in all 13 districts of the state. The passing marks for APTET is 40 percent marks and above. For Open Category (OC) and Backward Category (BC) candidates a minimum of 60 percent marks and above and 50 percent marks respectively is required to qualify the APTET. As per an official notification, the validity for of certificates would be for a period of 7 years from the date of TET.

APTET is basically for people aspiring to be teachers in state government, mandal parishad, zilla parishad, municipality, private aided schools in Andhra Pradesh for classes I to VIII.
