Patna, Nov 10: The Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) on Thursday issued the notification for 355 vacancies in the 63rd preliminary examination. The aspirants can apply for the posts for which the application process will begin on November 13. The registration and payment must be completed by December 4. The last date for applying for the post is December 11.

The notification stated the commission will conduct the exam for 123 posts of Chief Technological Officer (CTO). It also invited applications for 6 and 16 posts of Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) and Sub-divisional officer (SDO) respectively. There is no change in the pattern of the exam. The Preliminary exam comprises questions of 150 marks.

Earlier, the commission declared the preliminary results of 60th to 62nd Common Combined (Preliminary) Competitive Examination which was conducted in February.

The updated syllabus of BPSC was published for the 60th to 62nd Common Combined (Main) Competitive Examination on the official website of the commission.

The BPSC exams were conducted in 390 centres on amidst allegations of the paper leak. The exam was largely conducted peacefully at all its centres except for D.B.K.R.K Jalan High School in Patna City.

A number of students who had appeared in the BPSC preliminary examination at the centre alleged that the question paper for the exam had been leaked.
