The Post Graduate Programme in Management (PGP) is for a duration of six trimesters, spread over two years, with a summer project between the two years. As an autonomous Central Educational Institution of the Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India, IIMB awards graduating PGP students with a Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM), equivalent to an MBA degree.
The Two Year Post Graduate Programme in Agribusiness Management (PGP- ABM) is designed to prepare students for careers in management related to food & agribusiness and allied sectors in an international environment.
The Post Graduate Programme in Business Management (PGPBM) at the Chennai Centre is one of the flagship programmes of IIM Tiruchirappalli (IIMT). PGPBM was launched in 2012 to groom working executives in and around Chennai, who aspire to move into senior leadership roles.
The Post Graduate Programme in Management for Working Executive (PGPWE) is an intensive one and a half year post graduate program in management, especially designed for mid/senior level professionals. The program is formulated and designed to enhance skills and capabilities essential for managerial positions. The focus is to enable and develop managers that understand global embedness and requirements of their organisations as well as also understand the intricacies of business at functional and strategic levels.
The EPGP is a full-time programme, and requires the applicants to take a sabbatical or quit their current roles to be able to be part of the programme. Executive Post Graduate Programme in Management (EPGP) also provides placement services. EGMP programme is spread over 40 days and is spread over 6-9 months.
A Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) is a diploma course offered by the institutes that are recognised by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and which are autonomous and not affiliated to any university.
PGPEX (Post Graduate Programme for Executives) is IIM Calcutta’s One Year Full Time Residential Programme meant for Executives with more than five years of professional experience. IIM Calcutta is the first management institute in the country to be Triple Crowned – to be accredited by AACSB, AMBA and EQUIS, i.e., accredited by all the three major accreditation agencies in the world for management education.
EGMP is targeted for mid-career senior executives. Another important aspect for the candidates is that it is a part time course which is about 250 hours. There will be no electives for EGMP programme. Aspirants are also required to note that no certificate will be accepted. Executive General Management Programme (EGMP) is a certificate programme and is largely based on the core programme of the diploma granting programmes.
