Delhi Government has issued the list of selected EWS candidates for the nursery admissions. This year the selection list will be put up on the official website. For checking the list of selected EWS candidates, aspirants will need to login to the official website and enter the required details and check the names at official website. The admission of the child shall be cancelled in case the document submitted by the applicant at the time of admission are found to be forged/ fake at any stage. It is also important Criminal proceedings may also be initiated against such parents/guardians. Multiple/Duplicate entries if found at any stage, may lead to cancellation of the candidature/admission.

Once the name of the student appears on the list, the admission formalities will need to be fulfilled. All the Heads of Govt Sarvodaya Vidyalayas are informed that the registration date for Admission in classes Nursery, KG and First has been extended from March 18, 2017 (Saturday) to March 25, 2017 (Saturday). Earlier, the high court had stayed the directorate of education notification for fixing the upper age limit for nursery admissions at four years. It is important for the aspirants to note that at the time of scrutiny, if any variation is found between the details filled online and documentary evidence produced later. On the admission shall be denied and suitable action shall be initiated as per law. The Delhi High Court also dismissed the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Government’s appeal against the stay order of its new nursery admission norms. The Delhi Government had also moved the High Court following a single judge’s interim order on its notification based on the neighbourhood criteria.
