The Himachal Pradesh Technical University (HPTU) has started the application process for Himachal Pradesh Common Entrance Test (HPCET) 2017. HPTU also conducts the HPCET for admission to B.Tech, M.Tech, B.Pharmacy, B.Pharmacy (Ayurveda), M.Pharmacy, MCA and MBA programmes. Interested candidates are required to apply before April 29, 2017. HPCET is a pen and paper based offline test and will be conducted separately for each course. Candidates can apply for HPCET 2017 on the official website of Himachal Pradesh University. The entrance exam – HPCET 2017 will be conducted in offline (Pen & Paper) mode.
The results of the entrance exam will be declared by the university by end of May. It is important for the candidates applying for HPCET to fill the details carefully as they will not be allowed to make any changes after the submission of application form. Applicants are also required to take a print-out of the completed application form and get it signed by a parent or guardian. The completed application form signed by a parent/ guardian should be sent to “The Controller of Examination, Himachal Pradesh Technical University, Gandhi Chowk, Hamirpur (HP) 177001”. Aspirants are also required to note that the state level engineering entrance test, HPCET 2017 will be conducted on May 13, 2017 for admissions to undergraduate engineering programmes across the participating institutes of the exam. HPCET 2017 will be conducted in offline (Pen & Paper based) mode. Aspirants are also required to note that the application form, admit card and result of HPCET 2017 will be available in online mode. It is also important to note that no candidate will be allowed to enter the exam centre without a valid admit card of HPCET 2017.
