IBPS RRB Mains 2016: Important Dates, Exam Pattern and Syllabus

IBPS RRB Mains Exam 2016 as the name suggest is going to be conducted for recruitment of Officers Scale I, II, III Candidates and Office Assistants in Regional Rural Bank conducted by Institute of Banking Personnel Selection. It is the second stage in the recruitment process of Officers and Office Assistants. The first stage i.e IBPS RRB Prelims Exams 2016 has been successfully ended up this month except for the result of IBPS RRB Office Assistant Exam 2016, which will be announced in due course of time at the official website. IBPS is now ready for conducting IBPS RRB Mains Exam 2016 on December 11, 2016 for Officers Scale and December 18, 2016 for Office Assistant. The admit card for IBPS RRB Mains Exam 2016 will be soon uploaded on official website of IBPS.

IBPS RRB Exam 2016 is conducted in two tiers comprising Preliminary Exam and Mains Exam. The Preliminary Exam is just the entry gate for the recruitment. The scores obtained by the candidates in IBPS RRB Prelims will not be calculated for the final selection. The online examination will be held in two phases – Preliminary and Mains Exam. The candidates who will obtain qualifying marks in Prelims Exam will be eligible to appear for IBPS RRB Mains Exam to be held in December. The aspirants who have applied for Office Assistant Posts will directly get allotment in the bank after Mains Exam but those who have applied for Officer Scale have to appear fo Common Interview Process to be conducted by IBPS as per schedule mentioned below. Exam Pattern for IBPS RRB Mains Exam 2016
As per latest advertisement issued by IBPS, IBPS RRB Mains Exam will be conducted through the Online Mode. IBPS wil provide separate question booklet for different posts. Likewise, they will provide separate online question booklet for Office Assistant, Office Scale I, Officers Scale II, Officer Scale 3 respectively. All the candidates who are going to appear for IBPS RRB Mains Exam should read the complete exam pattern including number of questions, subjects, exam duration and marking scheme, which is provided below:

For every correct answer: +1 marks to be awarded
For every incorrect answer: -1/4 or 0.25 mark to be deducted

About IBPS RRB Exam 2016: It is a All India National Level Recruitment exam, which is organized by Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) for the recruitment of 16,560 Posts. Out of the total posts advertised, 8824 posts are for Office Assistants (Multipurpose) recruitment and 7736 posts are for Officers in Scale – I, II & III Recruitment.
