The Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) has announced the 2017 exam timetables for both Class XII (ISC) and Class X (ICSE) examination. The ISC exam will commence on Physics Paper 2 while the
ISC exams will commence with the Physics Paper 2 practicals on February 6 and will end on till April 5. ICSE exams  will begin with the English paper on February 27 and end on March 31. Majority of the ISC papers will be conducted at either 9am or 2pm while the ICSE exams will held at 9 am or 11 am.  This year  to make the exam less stressful for the students the students will get an additional 15 minutes to read the question paper. The question paper may be distributed to candidates at 10:45 a.m. to enable them to start writing. Aspirants are required to note that on Monday February 27, the exam will commence with English language-Paper 1,followed by  Literature in English,History and Civics -Paper 1, Art paper I, Geography paper will be held on March 6, 2016. On March 8, the students will be tested on Second language and modern foreign language. This year exams for the ICSE students will end on  March 31, 2017. The ISC exam in 2017 will commence on February 6, 2016 with the Physics Paper-2 (Practical) exam and will end on April 5 with Sociology paper. The practical examination of Physical Education Paper 2 will be held on any day after February 6,  2017 according to the official notification.
