Lucknow, Bengaluru, Guwahati, Apr 5: The Indian Institute of Mass Communication Alumni Association (IIMCAA) organized its annual alumni meet Connections 2018 in Lucknow, Bengaluru and Guwahati where former students of the institute shared their memories. The annual alumni meet was organised by Uttar Pradesh, Karnataka and North Eastern Chapter of the IIMCAA.
At the IIMC alumni meet in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh Chapter president, Santosh Kumar Valmiki, vowed to strengthen the network of the group and continue social activities. General Secretary Pankaj Jha stressed on the expansion of IIMCAA’s activities and asked young members to spend more time for it. In Bengaluru, senior alumni Renuka Kakkad pointed out advantages of a strong network between the IIMCAA and the institute.
The North Eastern Chapter held the IIMCAA alumni meet in Guwahati where senior alumni Jahanbi Phukan hailed a connection between students of a 9-month course of the institute and an alumni group. Chapter vice president and senior cop of Assam Police Numal Mahtta emphasised on expanding the circle of IIMCAA’s activities. IIMCAA general secretary Ranjan shed light on various activities of the association since its formation in 2012.
