As per official figures shared by CBSE, about 11.38 lakh candidates have written the National Eligibility cum Entrance Examination 2017. However, the examination was wrought with controversies and many people filed individual petitions in Madras and Gujarat High Court. Following the same, the Madras HC had put a stay order on the release of NEET 2017 Results. Last week, however, Supreme Court dismissed the stay on release of NEET 2017 results and ordered CBSE to declare the NEET 2017 result before June 26. CBSE, in response quickly released the OMR and Answer Keys in quick succession. The Answer Keys were released on June 15, 2017 ahead of the notified date of June 16. It is however to be noted that there is no official notification of release of NEET 2017 result tomorrow. Officials at CBSE NEET were unavailable and we could not get any particular date for the release of the results. CBSE is the conducting authority of the NEET 2017 examinations and would be releasing the roll number wise results for NEET 2017 on its official website cbseneet.nic.in. Also, CBSE would release the lists for All India Rank for NEET 2017 as well as a State wise Rank for NEET 2017. Candidates to please note that the counseling for All India Quota for NEET 2017 would be conducted by Medical Counseling Committee and the schedule for the same would be released on the official website of MCC. As for the state level counseling of the 85 percent State Quota in NEET, the counseling schedule would be released by respective State authorities. Many states have agreed to have a common counseling for private and government medical colleges. The schedule would be available late. Tentatively, counseling for All India Quota would be scheduled for July and that for State Quota in August 2017.
