The medical postgraduate exam for NEET PG exam 2017 will commence on December 5 and will end on December 13. This year the aspirants are required to note that the last date for online registration and scheduling for NEET-PG 2017 had been extended upto November 7, 2016. NEET-PG 2017 exam is an eligibility-cum-ranking examination which has been prescribed as the single entrance exam for various MD/MS and PG Diploma Courses as per Section (10) of Indian Medical Council Act 1956. Aspirants who are appearing for the NEET PG 2017 exam are required to bring to the test centre the following documents which include the printed copy of Admit card with photo pasted on it and are required to have photocopy of Permanent and Provisional SMC/MCI registration, to be retained by the test centre and any one of the authorized photo IDs.
It is important for the aspirants to note that the Photo ids must be original, valid and non-expired. It is advisable for all the aspirants to reach the venue well in time to avoid the last minute stress. Aspirants are required to note that the exam will only contain multiple choice questions, each with four options and only one correct response. Aspirants must select their answers wisely. It is advisable that the candidates must arrive at their assigned test centre one (1) hour before their scheduled test start time. If the test begins at 10 AM, you must reach the reporting counter at test centre no later than 9 AM. If the test begins at 3:45 PM, you must reach the reporting counter at test centre no later than 2:45 PM. This will allow for security checks, identity verification and check-in. The reporting counter will close 30 minutes prior to the exam start time. Candidates who arrive late will not be allowed to take the exam. While appearing for the NEET PG exam, aspirants need to have PAN card/Driving license/Voter ID/Passport/ Aadhaar Card (with photograph). Candidates who have obtained their Primary medical Qualification outside India and do not have SMC/MCI registration will need to bring their original screening test pass certificate issued on NBE letterhead to the test centre. In case a candidate who is selected and allotted seat through counseling will need to produce the certificate of registration of medical qualification issued by the State Medical Council / Medical Council of India at the time of reporting to the allotted Medical College/Institute.
