The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) will soon release the NTPC Results 2016. It is expected that the results of RRB will start declaring the results region wise for the RRB NTPC start from December 4 till December 7, 2016. This year the results have been been delayed for the exams which were conducted the month of March- April. The results are being awaited by about 56 lakh candidates since the past 3-4 months. There has been no official announcement with regard to the results date on any of the zonal websites of RRBs. Recently, RRB Thiruvanthapuram had announced the results but have been withdrawn now. They had issued a statement which stated that the servers were being tested for the declaration of the results.
RRB Thiruvananthapuram had announced that stage 2 exam for candidates will be held on December 19, 20 & 21. The decision to declare the results regional wise has been taken as there are lakh of candidates who appeared for the exam. The posts which are being offered include assistant station master, clerk, goods guard, typist, apprentice and junior accounts assistant. There are about 18,252 vacancies. The Railway Recruitment is yet to release the updated answer keys and candidates’ response as per the official notification. The Railway Recruitment Board claims that RRB NTPC is the world’s largest Computer Based Test exam which is organized for about 92 lakh candidates in March-May 2016. They also stated on RRB Mumbai official website that the preparation of result for the examination involving millions of candidates requires data handling of unprecedented magnitude. It is important for the aspirants to regularly visit the RRB’s website to get updates regarding the RRB NTPC results. This year the exam was conducted in 15 languages include English, Hindi, Gujarati, Punjabi, Kannada, Tamil, Telugu, Marathi, Konkani, Odia, Assamese, Bengali, Manipuri, Malayalam & Urdu. The mock test is available for practice on the websites of all the RRBs. The year the duration of Computer Based Test (CBT) will be 90 minutes (120 minutes for PWD candidates with scribe). There were a total of 100 Multiple choice questions. There will be negative marking for 1/3rd for every incorrect answer.
