The State Bank of India (SBI) has postponed the release the result of the Mains examination for the recruitment of Probationary Officers (PO) to August 20 at sbi.co.in. Earlier, the result was scheduled to be released on August 16. The online examination was conducted on July 31, 2016. The candidates can check the result on sbi.co.in. The application process for the SBI PO vacancy had started on May 4, 2016 and ended on May 24, 2016. Candidates who clear the various round will get recruited. The bank had earlier released a notification PO (CRPD/PO/2016-17/02) to recruit eligible candidates for 2,260 posts of probationary officers.
In order to check steps to check SBI PO mains result 2016, candidates are required to visit the official website and click on career link. Candidates need to click on the career section. They will required to enter their registration number and other required details. Candidates will required to check the result and take the print out of the result. The print out of the results will be handy for future reference. As per the tentative dates, candidates are required to note that the successful candidates will be able to download the call letter for interview from August 22 onwards. According to the tentative schedule, The group discussion and interview will commence from September 1. The final result of SBI PO Mains will be out on September 30.
The SBI PO mains exam 2016 was for 200 marks based on reasoning and computer aptitude, Data Analysis and Interpretation, General/Economy/Banking Awareness and English Language..Vacancies are reserved for Disabled (Physically Challenged) Persons under Section 33 of the Persons with Disabilities (Equal Opportunities, Protection of Rights and Full Participation) Act, 1995 (1 of 1996) as per government guidelines. Candidates with following disabilities are eligible to apply as per the definitions given in the above act: a) Orthopedically Handicapped, b) Visually Impaired, c) Hearing Impaired.
