Symbiosis International University will conduct the Symbiosis National Aptitude Test (SNAP) 2016 exam soon. The exam is tentatively scheduled to be held on December 18. This year the registrations had ended on November 25. The payment of registration pay was done by November 27, 2016. Symbiosis National Aptitude Test (SNAP) 2016 will consists of 4 sections.The four sections include General English, Reading Comprehension, Verbal Reasoning, Verbal Ability. Section 2 will consist of quantitative, Data Interpretation and Data Sufficiency. The section three will consist of Current Affairs of last 2 years and analytical and logical reasoning. Here are some of the topics which the aspirants need to prepare and revise for various sections-
- Quantitative Ability & Data Interpretation: The important topics of this section included questions on Probability, pie charts, time and distance, percentages clocks, trigonometry, number theory, Profit Loss, Logarithm, Averages etc.
- General English: While for General English aspirants will need to prepare for Reading Comprehension, Vocabulary, Fill in the blanks, Correct Incorrect Sentences.
- General Awareness: General Awareness section will include questions on Current affairs, literature, sports, science etc.
- Logical Reasoning: While for logical reasoning section aspirants will need to prepare questions on Syllogisms, Venn diagrams, Relationships, Complex arrangements, Analogies, critical reasoning etc. ALSO READ: SNAP 2016: Important guidelines for SNAP exam for December 18 , 2016
The duration of SNAP Test duration will be of 120 minutes. The SNAP Test will be an objective test. Each question has 4 responses. Candidates are required to choose an appropriate response. It is important to note that each wrong answer attracts 25% negative marks. It is important to note that the candidates are required to use blue or black ball point pen only. This year there will be 40 questions on General English, quantitative, data interpretation and data sufficiency, current affairs of last 2 years, Analytical and logical reasoning. The total marks of four sections is 150 marks. This year, the SNAP exam will be of 120 marks while the SNAP test is an objective test. Each question will have 4 responses. SNAP exam is a mandatory entrance exam for candidates who wish to join the MBA programs which is offered by institutes of Symbiosis International University will need to take the common, mandatory Symbiosis National Aptitude (SNAP) Test. A candidate needs to register for SNAP Test & also register for the institutes offering his/ her choice of program by paying separate program registration fees. Candidates are required to note that if the list is shortlisted, he/she would then need to attend the GE-PIWAT process conducted by each of these institutes individually. The registration process for SNAP and institutes is now simplified. Aspirants can now complete the SNAP as well as program registrations in the same portal.
