The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has conducted the Combined Graduate Level (SSC CGL Tier-2) Exam 2016 today, i.e. November 30 at various centers across the nation. The exam was conducted online and 1,49,319 candidates gave the SSC CGL Tier-2 exam 2016. The exam consisted of four papers namely; Quantitative Ability, Statistics (Only for Statistical Investigator posts), English Language & Comprehension and Finance & Accounts (Only for Assistant Audit Officer (AAO) in C&AG posts. The Quantitative Aptitude paper for SSC CGL Tier 2 2016 exam carried 100 marks. There were 200 questions in total and the level of paper was difficult.

Candidates should note that there will be a negative marking of 0.25 mark per incorrect question. Overall, the SSC CGL Tier II Exam 2016 was tougher in comparison to previous year’s paper. In the English Language and Comprehension section of the exam, a total of 200 questions were asked carrying 100 marks in total. The Staff Selection Commission will release the answer keys of the SSC CGL Tier 2 2016 exam soon on the official website. Candidates should check the official website regularly for the exam related updates. Now, as per latest information, the interviews will not be conducted for Tier 3 phase of the exam. Tier 3 phase of the exam consists of computer proficiency test or data entry skill test (wherever applicable) and document verification only. At the time of release of the SSC CGL notification, around 25 lakh applied for the SSC CGL tier 1 exam out of which 14,25,234 eligible candidates appeared for the test. Candidates who had qualified Tier I had appeared for the Tier II phase of the exam.
