UP Board Result 2018 Date: The results of the Uttar Pradesh Board class 10th and 12th exams are going to be declared in the last week of April or first week of May. Earlier, it was reported that the class 10, 12 results will be declared on or before April 15, 2018, as the new session is going to begin from April 16, 2018. Dismissing the reports, the UP Board, Meerut Regional Secretary, RSK Suman told India.com, “The results are going to be announced in the last week of April or first week of May. The process is still going on, but I don’t know the exact result declaration date.” However, another UP Board official, Allahabad, informed that the results are likely to release on the third or on the last week of April on the official website i.e. upmsp.edu.in.

The exams were started from February 6, 2018. Now, the candidates who have appeared for the UP Board Class 10 and Class 12 exams can check their results (when it will get declared) on the official website mentioned above.

Steps to check UP Board Class 10 and 12 results:

Step 1: Students need to visit either of the official websites of UP board at www.upmspresults.up.nic.in and upresults.nic.in
Step 2: Go to the link UP Board class 10th and 12th results
Step 3: Enter your Roll no and enter your School Code (As mentioned in the admit card)
Step 4: Submit and get your result
Step 5: Take a print out of UP board exam results for future reference.

The Board had hired 1.46 lakh examiners to evaluate the answer sheets. The result declaration websites are upmspresults.up.nic.in, upresults.nic.in and results.nic.in. Other private websites also host the results like examresults.net and indiaresults.com. Generally, the UP Board secondary and senior secondary get released in May, but this year the result declaration date got preponed. But since there is no confirmation of exact date, we can expect that this year also the results will be declared in the last week of April or first week of May.

This year almost 66.37 lakh students registered for the Uttar Pradesh Board exam. These include 29,81,327 students for class 12 exams and 36,55,691 appearing for class 10 exams. However, a record total of 11,28,250 students did not appear for the board exams, as per as the reports.

This happened due to the strict measures were taken by the UP Board to prevent cheating, according to the exam authority. This year the coded answer sheets were used only in 50 districts but from next year the rules would be stricter. In 2019, the 75 districts of UP is going to use coded answer sheets to prevent cheating.
