The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has declared the result of Combined Defence Services (CDS) I Exam 2017. The exam was conducted on February 5 at various centers across the nation. The UPSC CDS I Exam 2017 Result has been declared and can be checked on the official website upsc.gov.in. A total of 8548 candidates have qualified the UPSC CDS I 2017 Exam. The qualified candidates will be interviewed by the Service Selection Board (SSB) of the Ministry of Defence, for admission to (i) Indian Military Academy, Dehradun 144th Course commencing in January, 2018 (ii) Indian Naval Academy, Ezhimala, Kerala, Course commencing in January, 2018 (iii) Air Force Academy, Hyderabad (Pre-Flying) Training Course (203/F(P) commencing in February,2018 (iv) Officers Training Academy, Chennai 107th SSC Course (for Men) commencing in April, 2018 and
(v) Officers Training Academy, Chennai, 21st SSC Women (Non-Technical) Course commencing in
April, 2018 .

The roll numbers of provisionally selected candidates have been displayed on the official website of UPSC in the form of pdf. Candidates can check their roll number by clicking on the activated result link on the Commission’s website. The candidates who have qualified the exam will be required to register themselves online on the Indian Army Recruiting website joinindianarmy.nic.in within 2 weeks of announcement of written result. Thereafter, the candidates will be allotted the centers for interview.
