UPSC has released the recruitment results for various posts like medical officer, Livestock Officer, Senior Scientific officer, Economic officer, Assistant Professor, Air Safety Officer, Deputy Legislative Counsel, Specialist Grade-III Assistant,Deputy Director (Technical), Scientist SB (Mechanical), Lecturer in Electronics R.V Communication Engineering, Government Polytechnic, Technical Education Department, Daman and Diu Administration at upsc.gov.in. The following Recruitment Results have been finalized by the Union Public Service Commission during the month of JULY, 2016. The recommended candidates have been informed individually by post. Applications of other candidates were duly considered but regretted that it has not been possible to call them for interview/recommend them for the post. Candidates can check the results here

UPSC consists of a chairman and ten members. The terms and conditions of service of chairman and members of the Commission are governed by the Union Public Service Commission (Members) Regulations, 1969. The Chairman and other members of the UPSC (Union Public Service Commission) are appointed by the President of India. UPSC is amongst the few institutions which function with both autonomy and freedom along with the country’s higher judiciary and lately the Election Commission. As of 12 May 2015, the Commission consists of a chairman and 10 members.
