New Delhi, April  11:  The Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board (UPPRPB) announced that document verification and medical test of candidates selected in the Constable and Fireman Recruitment Examination 2013 will be re-conducted.  The UPPRPB on Tuesday notified about the development, citing the court order. The step is in line with a High Court decision, ordering for re-conduct of the documents verification and medical tests of the candidates selected in the 2013 Constable recruitment process. The court gave the decision on a writ petition filed in the court regarding the Horizontal reservation.

The admit cards and list of all the 13479 candidates will be available on the Boards website at www.uppbpb.gov.in, from April 14 onward, the admit cards will also be sent through post.

The official notification stated that the document verification and medical test will be conducted on April 23, 2018 at eight different locations in the state, i.e.  Kanpur, Lucknow, Meerut, Varanasi, Allahabad, Agra, Bareilly and Gorakhpur. The candidates are required to reach the test center in time, should carry all the original certificates along with photocopies of the same and the latest photograph.

The board notified the recruitment for 41,610 vacancies of constable and firemen in 2013. The written examination was held on December 14, 2013. After the written examination, document verification and medical test of the selected candidates was conducted in March and April, 2015, and the final results were announced in July, 2015.
