New Delhi, April 4: West Bengal Police Recruitment Board is going to hire for 5,702 constable posts. The online, as well as off-line application modes, has been started from April 1, 2018. Candidates who wish to apply for the post must have passed Madhyamik Examination (Class 10) from the West Bengal Board of Secondary Education.
All the candidates should be able to read, write and speak the Bengali language. But this provision will not be applicable for the permanent residents of hill-sub-divisions of Kalimpong and Darjeeling districts.

The candidate should not be less than 18 years old and must not be more than 27 years old as on 01.01.2018. The upper age limit shall be relaxed by five years for the candidates belonging to the categories of Scheduled Castes (SC) & Scheduled Tribes (ST) and by three years for the candidates belonging to the category of Other Backward Classes (OBC).
