Hrithik Roshan smooches Barbara Mori

As the chaos in Mumbai continues, the supremely ludicrous world of Bollywood steams ahead with all the nonsensical gossip and antics.

Today's special masala is that Hrithik Roshan, after wetting Aishwarya Rai's lips (much to Abhishek Bachchan, Amitabh Bachchan and Jaya Bachchan's dismay) has rolled his tongue over another co star. In between performing death defying stunts and flying kites, he managed to lock lips with his co-star Barbara Mori.

Apparently in the stunt, Hrithik Roshan had to kiss his co-star Barabara Mori on her cheek, but later it was turned into a smooch.

Hrithik confirms saying , “We were both supposed to jump off from a rooftop at an impossible height. Before we did so director Anurag Basu suggested that I kiss Barbara since we were doing something death-defying and dangerous."

"I kissed her on her cheek to which she turned around to ask, ‘Given the same situation with your wife Susanne would you kiss her on the cheek?’ I was floored by her logic. The scene was reshot and I kissed her the way real-life couples would in the situation.”

I bet Suzannane would love to throw Hritik off a rooftop at an impossible height. But then the Krisshh actor says that kissing in Bollywood gets too much attention, and that its time for the audience to 'modernize'.

“Is kissing such a big deal?," he adds, "Hasn’t our cinema grown up? There are kissing scenes in Kites but nothing to make me squirm. I’d be more than happy watching those scenes with my wife, son and parents.”

So who else wants to kiss someone, record the video and watch it with your family? Well of course, Hritik is drooling over Mori in a strictly 'professional' way.

He revealed that the smooch is very important in the movie: “Kites is a love story about people in love. How do people in love express their feelings? Barbara made me realize how silly we look on screen while shying away from expressing love naturally.”

Only kissing? We know a few people who have expressed their love by giving flowers, writing poems, treating dinner... oh wait, this is an action movie... BRING ON THE KISSES.
