93 Min: GOAL!!! Kevin de Bruyne breaks the deadlock! Lukaku’s strength sees him burst through, his cutback isn’t quite dealt with and De Bruyne picks it up to rattle it home.

80 Min: SAVE! Howard pulls off another fine save to keep out Hazard’s curling effort, and then the USA counter down the left, but Beasley’s cross is cut out. It’s end-to-end.
57 Min: Vertonghen tries an audacious volley from the left which just curls wide of the far post. The ball is completely with Belgium at the moment.
56 Min: CROSSBAR! A superb header by Origi hits the crossbar from a beautiful cross by Mertens. Howard didn’t move a muscle.
54 Min: AWFUL MISS! Origi had a golden chance to put Belgium 1-0 up as Vertonghen drilled in a precise cross from out wide, the cross was too far for the running De Bruyne but was perfect for Origi!

47 Min: SAVE! Tim Howard saves a beautiful headed effort by Dries Mertens from a De Bruyne cross! Superb header and even better save!

45+1 Min: Origi breaks with pace and he finds De Bruyne, who opts to hammer in a shot from range first-time. His connection is true but Howard is right behind it and holds onto it.
43 Min: Vertonghen pings in a cross from the left after a find pass from Toby Alderweireld, but Gonzalez heads over for a Belgium corner.
25 Min: CHANCE! Hazard plays a delightful first-time pass from favourite position to a running Vertonghen who then crosses into the danger zone but the cross is cleared off well by Beasley! What was he doing there?
23 Min: HUGE CHANCE for Belgium! The Americans get caught in possession and it’s suddenly 5 on 4. De Bruyne is the man left over on the left but when he gets it he takes a touch first to cut inside and then rolls it wide. That was poor.
13 Min: Belgium spring a counter-attack at USA and do well to use their skill and strength to ride the challenges, but Cameron steps in to halt their progress.
1 Min: SAVE! So early on! And by Tim Howard! Divock Origi uses his pace to get through, but Tim Howard made the save and then the USA deal with the resultant corner. What a superb start!
