Switzerland starts the match with the team playing to their full potential with no medical maladies to report and their coach, Ottnar Hitzfeld, will have to face the tough decision if he should be playing Steve von Bergen with Philippe Senderos while for centre defence, whether he should go with  Fabian Schar or Johan Djourou.

Ecuador has bad news with Segundo Castillo out of the match due to a knee injury and he will be replaced by Osvaldo Minda who will mostly be brought into the match later on.

Switzerland doesn’t believe in conventional formations and will most likely play a 4-2-3-1 formation while the more orthodox Ecuador will mostly stick to the time tested 4-4-2 formation. Ravshan Irmatov of Uzbekistan starts the match and let’s hope that this match has good calls from the match officials unlike more popular games where unlikely forces have favoured the bigger team.
