Karnataka Bank Ltd one of the most popular private bank has invited application for the recruitment of Clerks. The registrations has commenced today December 1 and will end on December 21, 2016. As per the notification released, the aspirants need to have the minimum qualification of being a graduate in Arts / Commerce / Science / Computer Application /Business Administration / Business Management with minimum of 50% marks/equivalent grade from any recognised university. Graduates from any other streams are not eligible to apply. It is important for the candidates to be graduates as on December 1, 2016. Those aspirants who are waiting for the results are not eligible to apply. Candidates can go through the eligibility criteria, age limit, Application fees, selection procedure.
Age Limit : Minimum 18 years to Maximum 26 years [Candidate must have been born not earlier than December 02, 1990 and not later than December 01, 1998 (both days inclusive)] as on December 12, 2016. It is important for the aspirants to note that the age limit will be relaxed by 5 years for SC/ST candidates. The application Fee is Non refundable. Aspirants will be required to pay fees of Rs 600/- [500/- in the case of SC/ST candidates]
Selection : Candidates will be selected by online test which is tentatively scheduled in February 2017 at Ahmedabad, Bagalkot, Ballari, Belagavi, Bengaluru, Bidar, Chandigarh, Chikkaballapura, Chikkamagaluru, Davangere, Delhi, Dharwad, Hassan, Haveri, Hubballi, Jaipur, Kalaburagi, Kolkata, Mangaluru, Mysuru, Shivamogga, Tumakuru and Udupi Centres.
Karnataka Bank has also notified the Bank also reserves the right to change the centre/venue depending upon the administrative exigencies/requirements. Candidates who are successful in the online test will be called for an interview. There will be no allowances/reimbursement will be payable/made for attending thetest/interview. Selected candidates are required to execute a Bond to work for a minimum period of three years failing which they are required to pay the liquidated damages as may be prescribed in the appointment offer. Appointment & Emoluments: Selected candidates will be on probation for a period of six months and on satisfactory completion of the probationary period, will be confirmed, subject to rules and regulations of the Bank. Salary will be as per All India Level Settlements [Current approximate Gross Salary is `23,500/-p.m. exclusive of Medical Insurance Coverage, Leave Fare Concession (LFC), Canteen Allowance, News Paper Subscription Allowance, Medical Aid, etc. Eligible candidates are advised to apply online only between December 1, 2016 to December 21, 2016 (inclusive of both days) through the Bank’s website after carefully going through the instructions contained in this advertisement. Candidates will have to visit the Bank’s website (www.karnatakabank.com) under the heading “Download call letter for online test” for downloading call letters for online test tentatively during February 2017. Applicants will get the intimation for downloading call letter will also be sent through email/SMS. Once the candidate clicks on the relevant link, he/she can access the window for call letter download. The candidate is required to use his Registration Number/Roll Number, (Password/Date of Birth for downloading the call letter. Candidates will also need to attach their recent photograph on the call letter which has been provided during registration and appear at the examination centre with call letter, photo identity proof as stipulated in the call letter and photocopy of the same Photo Identity Proof as brought in original.(Go through the official notification here)
