The Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission (TNPSC) has released a notification for the recruitment of 5,451 posts in various categories under TNPSC Group 4 services for direct recruitment. It is important for candidates to apply before September 8, 2016  Candidates can apply at the official website  tnpscexams.in. The examination is scheduled to be held on November 6, 2016. Candidates are required to note that before applying for any Recruitment/Post candidates must verify and update their profile/details of One Time Registration available in the candidate’s dashboard duly login in One Time Registration.

Candidates must not wait for the last date to apply for the government job released and apply well in time. . Candidates should apply only through online in the commission’s website. It is important that all candidates enter their correct SSLC Register Number, Month and Year of Passing and Name of the Board, which issued the certificate. In case any details are wrong, the one time registration and online application are liable for rejection at any stage. It is mandatory for the candidates applying for the jobs at TNPSC and UPSC to have a valid e-mail id  and mobile numbers required for official confirmation. The candidates will be selected on the basis of interview/ exam conducted by the organisation. Junior Assistant (security)- 121 posts
Bill Collector- 8 posts
Field Surveyor- 532 posts
Draftsman- 327 posts

Steno-Typist- 404 posts

Educational qualification:
Junior assistant (non-security), bill collector (security), Field surveyor, draftsman: The candidate must have a minimum general educational qualification which is SSLC pass out or its equivalent with eligibility for admission to Higher Secondary Courses of Studies or to College Courses of studies.

Typist and steno-typist: The candidate must have a minimum general educational qualification which is SSLC pass out or its equivalent with eligibility for admission to Higher Secondary Courses of Studies or to College Courses of studies. The candidate must have passed the government technical examination in typewriting. Age limit: Read the complete advertisement HERE for age limit and other details for respective posts.  Candidates belonging to Most Backward Clases / Denotifed Communites and Backward Clases (other than Muslim) / Backward Clases (Muslim), who have cleared the Pre-University Examination or in addition, the examination held at the end of the first or second year of the degree course or passed only certain parts of the degree examination are not exempted from payment of the prescribed fees.

Selection Process: The candidates will be selected on the marks obtained by the candidates in the written examination, the tentative list of eligible candidates for certificate verification will be announced on the TNPSC official website. After verification  of the original certificates, the eligible candidates will be required to appear for counseling for allotment of the post and Department in the order of rank and category to which they are eligible as per the vacancy position.

Steps to apply online:

  •  Visit the official website of  TNPSC  www.tnpscexams.net  or www.tnpscexams.in
  •  Go to Careers and click on the application form
  •  Choose the desired post and Click on “Apply Online”.
  •  Complete the Registration
  • Pay the application fee and click on Submit
  • Take the printout of the application

Candidates need not send the printout of the online application or any other supporting documents to the Commission. The certificates will be verified only when the candidates come up for next stage of selection procedure.The candidates are required to  have a copy of printout of the Application and should submit to the Commission whenever asked for.
