Aishwarya Rai Bachchan is a stunner even in her forties and she consistently amazes us with her beauty as she steps out in style for events. We were still recovering from her Cannes looks this year and her stellar appearance in Ae Dil Hai Mushkil and now, she’s given us one more look to add in the list. Aishwarya is currently in Melbourne for IIFM or Indian Film Festival of Melbourne and she chose to dress up in a regal white anarkali for the event. Not just Aishwarya, she was accompanied by her darling daughter Aaradhya and this time, the mother-daughter duo twinned in matching outfits. Aaradhya too wore a white dress which was a traditional ghaghra-choli but of the similar fabric as her mom’s dress. The two looked resplendent as they waved to the fans, graced the podium and even hoisted the Indian flag. In fact, Aishwarya is the first Indian woman to hoist our flag at this event which was a moment of pride for all Indians present. Take a look at her regal self as she graces the Indian Film Festival of Melbourne.
Ash chose a sequined anarkali in white with a net dupatta and work all the way from the top to bottom. The floor-length dress also has a plunging neckline and a light powder blue tinge for the flowers adorned on it.
You can see how she twinned her outfit with her daughter and the two walked hand-in-hand everywhere, even on the podium.
Simi Grewal who is known for her fascination for the color white was also present at the event and luckily, Aishwarya too was wearing white which made for a classic photo-op.
Here’s how the outfits looked from the back.
Ash greeted the fans waiting for her with a Namaste. She chose to wear jewelry like a necklace and chunky rings on her fingers. She even wore dangling earrings.
You can see the other rings she sported as she clicked this selfie with a fan.
And to give you a flavor of Independence Day, watch Ash and Aaradhya hoist the Indian Flag and sing the national anthem in Melbourne.
Doesn’t she look stunning white? We love her outfit. Tell us your views in the comments section below.
