Hair usually becomes frizzy and dry during winter and it can lead to split ends and hair fall. You may also experience dry and itchy scalp. Your hair and scalp requires deep moisturization and nourishment during this season to stay healthy. This is the time when your hair needs some TLC and what can be better than natural hair masks. The homemade masks will restore moisture and nourish your hair. Here are some effective hair masks you must try this winter to keep your hair lustrous and healthy. 1. Egg yolk, honey and olive oil mask

You will need: one egg yolk, one cup of honey and one tablespoon of olive oil

Method: Take the egg yolk and beat it to make it frothy. Now, add the honey and olive oil. Mix well. Use this mixture to massage your hair and scalp for about five minutes and then leave it for about an hour. Then, wash it off using your regular shampoo. Do this thrice a week.

2. Yogurt, lemon and apply cider vinegar mask

You will need: Two tablespoons of yogurt, one tablespoon of apple cider vinegar and one teaspoon of lemon juice

Method: Take yogurt in a bowl and add in apple cider vinegar and lemon juice. Mix well and apply this mixture to your hair and scalp. 3. Yogurt and banana mask

You will need: One ripe banana, two tablespoons of olive oil and half a cup of yogurt

Method: Take the banana and mash it. The banana mash should not have any lumps. Add the yogurt and olive oil to the banana mash and mix it well. Apply this paste on your hair and scalp. Leave it for about 45 minutes and then wash it off with regular shampoo and lukewarm water.

4. Coconut oil, apple cider vinegar and honey mask

You will need: Two tablespoons of coconut oil, one tablespoon of apple cider vinegar and two tablespoons of honey

Method: Put coconut oil, honey and apple cider vinegar in a jar and mix well Apply this mixture to your hair and scalp. Leave it for about 30 minutes and then wash it off with regular shampoo. 5. Milk and honey mask

You will need: One cup of raw milk and one teaspoon of honey

Method: Take a cup of milk and add honey in it. Mix well and apply it to your hair and scalp. Use the milk and honey mixture to massage your scalp. Leave it for about 30 minutes and then wash it off using regular shampoo and lukewarm water. You can do this twice a week.
