Karan Johar is always in the news and when not directing, he is either judging reality TV shows or hosting an event. He is generally busy with one project or the other and that makes him quite the celebrity. The director is known for his quirky style sense as well which was pretty evident on the latest season of Koffee with Karan where he flaunted some rather glittery shoes. While he may stick to more sober choices when hosting awards in India, he often unleashes his flashy side when he’s abroad. Karan is currently in Melbourne for the Indian Film Festival of Melbourne (IFFM) and he has been sharing his outfit photos on Instagram. We take a look at his recent photos from Melbourne and what he wore for the event so far.

He started his Melbourne journey with this jacket by Coach and paired it with Dior sunglasses and a bag by YSL.

While he kept his look casual for the day, he suited up for the awards night. And considering how brand-conscious he is, he chose an Alexander McQueen black suit which came with a black tie with a rose on it. He even sported glasses with his suit.

But the next day, he was back in his causal avatar, sporting a jacket by Gucci, shoes again by Alexander McQueen and shades with a red tinge. This all-black look with a hint of gold in his shoes made him look cool and quirky.

Karan’s industry friends Malaika Arora and Maheep Kapoor also joined him in Melbourne and for his day look, he chose a leopard print jacket with ripped blue denims.

His most recent look is rather suave and less flashy than the rest. He wore a brown jacket with black leather sleeves and paired it with ripped black jeans and silver sneakers.

Karan Johar has been styled by Nikita Jaisinghani and the stylist has made sure she brings out Karan’s flamboyant side in these outfits. With all outfits, Karan did have an element of black in them, maybe because it is his favorite color.
