Arvind Kejriwal names Rahul Gandhi in India's most corrupt list

New Delhi, Jan 31: Targeting Rahul Gandhi, Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal today accused him of being corrupt and said the party will field candidates against him, UPA ministers and leaders of other parties.

He also took a jibe at BJP’s Prime Ministerial candidate Narendra Modi and the Congress Vice-President for spending over “Rs 500 crore on branding” and image-building exercise.

Drawing up a list of “corrupt” politicians, Kejriwal said the party will field candidates against them.

Speaking to his Aam Aadmi Party supporters at the national executive meet at the Constitution Club here, Kejriwal said they were in politics not to strengthen the AAP but the country.

For this, he urged supporters, we need to vote out these corrupt persons. Listing out the names, Kejriwal said corrupt netas like Suresh Kalmadi, Nitin Gadkari, Sushilkumar Shinde, BS Yeddyurappa, Kapil Sibal, Mulayam Singh, Kamal Nath, Veerappa Moily, Ananth Kumar, Anurag Thakur, Sharad Pawar, Praful Patel, P Chidambaram, Alagari, Kanimozhi, A Raja, Tarun Gogoi, Mayawati, Naveen Jindal etc have to be defeated.

When supporters shouted in endorsement, Kejriwal also named Congress scion Rahul Gandhi as one of them.

He also took a jibe at BJP’s Prime Ministerial candidate Narendra Modi and the Congress Vice-President for spending over “Rs 500 crore on branding” and image-building exercise.

“Our aim should be to not allow a single corrupt politician or even a family member to enter Parliament,” Kejriwal said, asking supporters to add names to the list which he may have missed out.
