Guargum futures fall on subdued export demand
At the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, guargum for delivery in May fell by Rs 300, or 2.14 per cent, to Rs 13,700 per quintal, with an open interest of 101 lots.

New Delhi, May 19 : Guargum prices fell by Rs 300 to Rs 13,700 per quintal in futures trading today as speculators indulged in booking profits at higher levels amid weak export demand.
At the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, guargum for delivery in May fell by Rs 300, or 2.14 per cent, to Rs 13,700 per quintal, with an open interest of 101 lots.
The most-active June contracts also lost Rs 180, or 1.27 per cent, to Rs 14,040 per quintal, in an open interest of 8,116 lots.
